Let's Read the Bible Together?

Have you ever wanted to read the entire Bible in one year? Do you struggle with being interested in Bible study or applying what you read to your daily life? Are you confused about how to study your Bible? Do you long for a community of young women who strive to live set apart lives to encourage you and hold you accountable in your walk with the Lord?

If you answered yes to any (or all!) of these questions, join us in 2016 for #TirzahintheWord.

There is a lot of noise in the world today - especially on the Internet and social media. Millions of blogs, websites, study aids, and books try to feed your soul. Some of those are even Christians. For many of us today, the only spiritual nourishment we get is from our favorite Christian bloggers, authors, and preachers as we visit their blogs or follow them on social media. Maybe we even supplement that with going to church once a week or by joining a college life group.

Friends, community is good. I know how encouraging it is to hear testimonies of what God is doing in other people's lives and what they're learning from their Bibles study.

But, for true spiritual growth, we need to actually go to the source of life - to drink from the well firsthand, not through someone else's filters or experiences.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your moth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. -Joshua 1:8
